WHAT'S NEXT BECOMES NOW AT IPC APEX EXPO 2024


CHT USA invites you to meet with our silicone experts in booth #442 during 2024 IPC APEX Expo, taking place the 9th-11th of April in Anaheim, California, USA.

IPC APEX EXPO is the largest event in North America for electronics manufacturing and connects top global manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, and experts in design, printed boards, electronics assembly and test.

Fitting to this year’s theme: “What’s Next Becomes Now”, CHT’s team will highlight next-generation, lightweight silicone solutions that benefit recent trends in electronic and transportation applications.

CHT’s team will showcase its latest product developments, including:

  • Silicone Foam designed to reduce weight, mitigate thermal runaway, and provide protection especially in electronics, EV batteries/automotive manufacturing. CHT will run live product demonstrations with this formulation during the show at booth #442:
    • Tuesday, 9th April: 11:00 a.m. PST & 2:00 p.m. PST
    • Wednesday, 10th April: 11 a.m. PST & 2 p.m. PST

 

  • A lightweight silicone potting compound, SILSO SE2014, which features a low specific gravity (SG) of just 0.73 g/cm3 which reduces weight by approximately 15% when compared to similar encapsulants. With low outgassing, low SG and UL94-HB approval, engineers can design components that are lighter while not having to compromise on performance, safety or the integrity of the finished product.

 

  • Thermally conductive 1-part RTV silicone adhesive, AS1811, for use with sensitive electronic components. In addition to bonding components and enclosures, it will effectively dissipate heat without any harmful by-products. With the added benefit of UL 94 V-0 approvals and low volatiles it makes this the perfect choice for every electronics design engineer.

 

  • SilSo Clear 21002: an optically clear liquid silicone rubber design for injection molding applications. Due to its non-yellowing properties, this product is ideal for optical applications such as lenses, lightguides and LEDs. Its resistance to ultraviolet (UV), temperature and moisture enables this material to perform under environmental conditions of automotive and outdoor lighting applications.
